Well yall went & whopped the Cowboy's azz, I was kinda hoping for a rematch to settle a little score, but yall settled that today. Few thangs bout the WHO THAT NATION, rule #1, no offensive audibles, none, in fact on occasion we don't even allow bret to be heard in the huddle so tell em to practice there hand signals. #2 please tell Brett to git ride of that ball fast, Kurt Warner kinda looked funny on the side line with one eye looking one way and another looking the other, Brett be a home town boy just up the road and all. #3 AH forget #3 we will just settle it next weekend.

Brees won't know what hit him. - See Romo.

If the good Vikings team shows up and opens up the offense a little bit, I think it'll be a very interesting game. Brees is a much better QB than Romo, tho, and I think will handle the pressure a lot better even if he does get hit.

Yep, it'll be an interesting game.

minnesota has a slim chance of winning in the superdome. i would like to see them win but the saints are very good all around and bad things always seem to happen to the vikings like in 1998. i dont think it will be close. there dome will be so loud how will the vikings be able to deal with that kind of pressure and brees is 10 times better then romo.

Typical Viking fan pessimism...

Well-earned, though. The Vikings have been very successful in general during the regular season, but in key games in the playoffs? Ugh.

That said, we have a good shot. I had doubts about them beating the Cowboys, and I was proven wrong.

The Saints had a weak schedule. As soon as they get any types of pressure from the D Line they get into trouble. Plus their defense isn't anything to be proud of. Maybe Will Smith and Darren Sharper, but I think that won't be a problem.

Not sure how they shut down the Cards, though. Green Bay couldn't do that, and the Packers had one of the better D's in the league statistically.

Of course, different matchups change things. I guess the Vikes use a 4-3 and the Saints are supposedly better against a 4-3 than a 3-4, but the Vikes also have a *good* front four.

I think the key will be the Vikings ability to shut down Bush and keep Brees under pressure, and maybe getting some key ground yards from AP or Percy Harvin to open up the passing game. Though I think the Vikings are better when they try to push the pass first. See the second half against the Bears for a good example...

Their most fearful defensive player is a 34 year old safety. We obviously can't overestimate their defense but I think it'd be foolish to get scared by it.

i hope they win but everytime i get over confident for a playoff game the vikings let me down. they have not been to the superbowl in my lifetime although they have had many chances to get there. im not worried about reggie bush as much as drew brees lighting us up for 1 maybe 2 touchdowns in the first quarter if that happends the vikes are going to be in big trouble.
