I want to thank the people who helped in the apprehention of the man who kidnapped my grandaughter and murdered my daughter saturday.It's because of fine people like you that make the amber alert system work and stopped this tragedy from becoming worse that it already is.Thank you all very much.

I'm sorry for you loss mystree66. I would suggest you jot a note to the P.D. and / or a short editorial to the Star Tribune, I'm sure the locals would love to hear your praise...I know the officers involved would appreciate hearing from you.

I am sorry for your loss and keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. I am a resident in the city in which you speak and was very saddened by what happened but grateful the baby was unharmed. The good people of this city will keep fighting to keep the police presence strong here. Sending love and condolences from Brooklyn Center/Park to your family during this time of grief and loss.
