Olive Branch is the place you would want to be. We came from out of state three years ago and we love Olive Branch. We work in Memphis and it is easy to get there form Olive Branch.

Default North Mississippi

Please read the post I replied to for someone else interested in Desoto County and let me know if you need more information. We loved Hernando!

I must disagree I lived in Memphis not long ago and Horn Lake is nothing compared to Memphis. Goodman Rd is so congested and busy going toward Southaven and if you go up the street or around the corner from Horn Lake you are in Southaven so their is not a big difference between the two and Whitehaven is also right off Airways so crime for Memphis comes to Southaven too just as easily as Horn Lake

Ok, now I'm worried. We have also been relocated and just bought a house in the Ivy Trails subdivision in Olive Branch. It's just north of goodman. Did we mess up? Argh! The stress!

You'll be fine!

Really, OB has very little crime overall. People just say "stay south of Goodman" because it's a little further from Memphis and is perceived as safer from any potential "trickle-down" crime. If a criminal is looking for a target, he's not going to be deterred just because it's south of a certain street!

I hope you enjoy it here! As with anywhere else, it has its plusses and minuses, but overall it's a really nice place to live

Default moving to Olive Branch

I just spent this entire past week looking at homes in Olive Branch. There is so much property for sale my head is spinning..... Does any one know of the area that is just east of 305 South a little south of Church Rd. It is located in Cedar Creek/Wesson Heights subdivisions. It seems like a nice stable area with not a whole lot of empty lots left.
