I have lived in Mississippi for the past 23 years, and I love it here. I have spent a notable amount of time in CO, VA, CA, and FL as well. Since the yankees are going to make their generalizations about southerners, I will make mine about them. I have found northerners to be predominately unattractive and rudenope, not happening. I also have noticed that the guys use more hair products than do the girls. Oh, but as everybody knows, especially the individuals from NY bashing my state on this thread, NY is perfect, with no crime, great schools, and let's not forget that they have the World Trade Center.

I'm black and I would not live Mississippi. I might visit because I still have relatives there, but I have lived in other states and for some reason, Mississippi can't compare to other places, like Texas. There is a reason my grandparents left Mississippi for the North during the 1940's and there is a reason my father won't live there now.
