Question cleveland mississippi preschools?

My husband and I (both life-long northeasterners) are considering a possible job for him near Cleveland, Miss. We are not religious... and I am worried there are no preschools for our 3-year-old that are not Christian or church-affiliated. Does anyone know of any alternatives? Also, are there and good violin teachers in the area?

I don't see you being very happy in Cleveland or MS. as a whole.
I love my state, but faith plays a huge role in living here (not a bad
thing If you ask me), and it is politically conservative. The people
here are very polite---i.e. the cashier @ the supermarket, etc.... but
they generally do not accept newcomers from other parts of the country
very well, especially those who have different beliefs or lack of........ Cleveland is a Mississippi Delta town--- very flat, no hills/mountains, cotton fields for days, not very scenic to say the least. Still very segregated and closed minded, you would be surrounded by poverty.... You would be 2 hrs. away from Memphis, TN.--- the closest major city. Not a whole lot of diversity....... I, for one, think the MS. delta has some very lovely people--- but for someone who is not from the south or this state, you would probably resent this place---so go elsewhere is the best advice I can give you........

Red face University

You can try Delta State University in Cleveland for a non religious preschool. Perhaps DSU also for a violinist. They have a music department. But, you never know. I don't think every child that attends Presbyterian Day School is Presbyterian. Otherwise your choices are really, really, really, limited.
