It be a different story if a White man and Black woman got into a relationship, but you never see that.
In Europe/England you frequently see white women with black men, take Heidi Klum and Seal (a very ugly man to everyone I would think) but it appears to be quite rare to see a white man with a black women. I can't ever remember seeing it

HOnestly, It doesn't need to change, It just needs to stay just like that. Mississippi is doing what it's suppose to do...stagger along. It was not meant to be one of the economic centers of America or they would've continued to get involved with the boom of America and take part in it's prosperity like it did during the cotton picking days.

the Cotton picking days were the hayday of Mississippi's prosperity. And they failed to pick up a new trade and get with the booms that have happend to cities all over the nation. from having sports teams, to having a viable economic engine within it's borders like Budweiser is to Houston or Furniture is to North Carolina. Mississippi chose to sit on it's laurels and thus the attitudes of today about Mississippi stink. as you can see in 99% of the posts in this forum. It's embarrassing.

Today, Missiissippi is just putting together cars. might as well pick cotton again. the pay could be the same.
You don't really know much about Mississippi, yet you make all these claims. Up until the early 2000's, there was more furniture produced in a 50 mile radius of Tupelo than anywhere else in the world. There were more than 100 furniture factories and 6700 people employed by the furniture industry in Lee County.

There is still a good furniture market in Lee County, but it's recent downsize has been caused by cheap offshore labor. This is also affecting the North Carolina market.

Honestly, in today's cutthroat economy, any good paying job is a welcome addition. I don't see anyone chastising Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, or any other state for pursuing car plants.

Mississippi is the largest domestic catfish producer, and has taken advantage of it's seafood production.

Ever heard of Howard Industries? Based in Laurel, MS it is the world's largest manufacturer of power distribution transformers. It has 5 divisions and a net worth of $1 billion.

How about Bryan foods? A national company that began and was headquartered in West Point. It is now a division of Sara Lee.

As for sports teams, Mississippi doesn't have the population to support an NFL or NBA team.

Cheap furniture. the best furniture comes from NC,
everybody with a sofa from there knows that. nothing beats 8-way hand-tied springs. the way a sofa should be made.

No wonder that company in Mississippi down-sized. the quality probably sucked.

and I hear the same rants about Mississippi can't afford a team yada yada but I always tell those people to look at Green Bay, Winsconsin. a city that's smaller than Jackson I bet. I drove thru there once and the biggest building is the Stadium..lol...and the Cheese factories..it's just the people are unified there. so save that noise...it's more Saints fans in Mississiippi than there are in Louisiana...lol...back when Katrina hit, Jackson could've took on the Saints no problem. but again, the leadership sat still.

A very civilised reaction I must say I don't think Halle Berry is 100% black either. There is a difference

Well, the good thing is that you no longer have to live in this horrid state, right?

Green Bay, a city of 105,000 people is close to the Milwaukee CSA of 1.8 million people. Green Bay is the only small city NFL team left from the early days of the NFL when it was common for teams to be in smaller cities. It is Wisconsin's only NFL team and pulls it's fanbase from the entire state of 5.7 million.

As for Tupelo furniture, it is good. I have owned plenty of it. Just two brands made in Tupelo that come to mind are Lane and Ashley.

It's obvious that you are dead set on pointing out the negatives and ignoring the positives, while assuming the worst of every scenario.

Truckin, I wish you luck in Texas.

Quenelle may not get what you're saying, but I do. White, black, or whatever... she's hot.
