Default Moving to Winston County (Louisville)

I'm about to move into the Louisville area and I'm looking for a house to rent. Does anyone know the range of rent in that area and does anyone have any suggestions of any available houses in that area or anywhere else in Winston, Noxubee, Choctaw, and Oktibbeha Counties? Anyones input will be greatly appreciated.

Those are some REALLY poor counties you have mentioned.

Oktibbeha does have the university in Starkville, which leads to a higher quality of life. There are tons of properties in all different levels of $$, but be aware it is a college town. Meaning stress renting a "quiet area" if that is what you prefer.

I know this is an old thread, but I stongly suggest NOT moving to Louisville Mississippi. Reasons as follows: No Jobs, National Income AVG at 21,000 way below the national level. Poverity levels extremely high in this area. I'm from there and know thats know I know all this is true. Rent goes about 400 a month cheap yes but you will have to travel for work. Starkville is growing but jobs a still hard to find in Starkville MS. Rent in Starkville is over the roof. 600 a month for a two bedroom dump over at College Station and the Polos. The apartments in Starkville treat full grown adults like prisoners or children. My advice unless I was going to make a killing in Louisville or this area. STAY AWAY!!!!

Yes, and I don't understand how they can do that. They have overbuilt apartments in Starkville, and there are more going up every day. As I recall, the city gov't tried to put a moratorium on new apartment building a couple of years ago, but it failed. Maybe the law of supply and demand will finally catch up to them.
