Default Olive Branch Builders to Avoid

(This is a repost from the Memphis forum.) My husband and I currently live in an apartment and plan to move to Olive Branch by year end. Are there any builders and neighborhoods that we should avoid? We have liked houses off the following streets: 302 & Pleasant Hill, 302 & Center Hill (may be too far for my husband's commute), 302 & Davidson and 302 & Craft. The builders are Better Lifestyles, Classic Homes LLC, Wheeler, Faxon Gillis, Security Builders & Building Dreams Construction. Thanks for any help! This will be our first home purchase and I am very nervous.

Hello Memphistransfer,
I am very familiar with the area
olive branch is a wonderful area that my family and I enjoy very much. Schools are 4 and 5 level schools.
We live off of Center Hill and absolutley love the convenience to the ammenities. My wife working in Bartlett, only spends 30 minutes driving time one way.

Good luck

john

Memphistransfer,
I personally am not fond of Davidson road area because of traffic.
I have family that live off pleasent hill / college hill area and it is very nice.
My family and I live off center hill road andwe love it.
Where does your husband work? The commute from center hill is probably shorter than you may think, depending of course on which way you are headed. 30 minutes to Bartlett, 15 minutes to collierville, 20 minutes into memphis, about 20 into germantown.

I lived in a newly constructed Johnny Coleman home in Olive Branch purchased in late 2000. I would give it a C or C- for quality.

I live a little further away but in a great neighborhood. It is College Crossing on College road off of bethel. Our builder is Grant and they do a great job.

Jody from Classic Homes will not do you wrong.
Shaun from Dream Home is a good builder too.
