might move to mississippi
can anyone tell me about corith mississippi is there any houses to rent in the area im from the state of maine and moved to georgia my husband my get a job the place is Quebecor if there is house renting were would i look i cant seem to find anything and what or how much is the rentels go for in that area please any help would be greatfull

moving to corinth
We live in the Corinth area and are also transplants. There is not much to rent here....we were very lucky to find one! However, the cost of living is pretty cheap if you decide to buy. A nice rental home here goes for about $600-800/month. If you have any more questions about this area, please feel free to ask me. We have been here for about 2 years now.

I may get a job in Forest too...my choice as we can not afford a home here in Southern California. Online, 'been looking at homes for sale in Jackson area...any other places nearby Forest recommended?

Instead of looking in Jackson, look in the Brandon or Rankin County area. That is east of Jackson towards Forest. The Reservoir area is especially nice and it isn't a bad drive from there to Forest on I20. |

Thanks auntbee...my interview is next week, I may have to go by myself first if I get the job; 'will need to rent a room or small apartment, any website to check for such will be appreciated.

The Jackson area newspaper is the Clarion Ledger. You might check the classifieds on their website for listings. There are plenty of apartments in Brandon and at the Reservoir. Most are listed on apartments.com.

If I think the prices of real estate in MS is more affordable than anywhere else that I can work (as of the immediate future), will I be frowned upon...I mean if that is my main reason of why am I moving into there?
