Default Lewisburg Schools (?)

We are relocating to Desoto County and have been trying to find a home in the Hernando School District but we are finding that the cost is high and we'd like a little more property for the $. Can anyone advise on the Lewisburg School District. I have found a few homes there and am curious if there is a great difference in the schools / area. I do know that Lewisburg schools are relatively new. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

welcome to the area..

Lewisburg schools are fine! Is it better than the other DeSoto County Schools? That would depend on who you asked and where their kids go

Lewisburg is not too overcrowded at the moment. The only drawback is how early it starts. I think its 7:30 for Elementary and 7:20 for Middle/High.
