I have always found it funny that people who live semi-near Memphis view the ENTIRE city and metro area as "filled with drugs and crime." I have lived here a long time, and I am proud to admit I have never sold drugs. Yes, I may break the speed limit, sometimes I double park, and once in a while I don't feed the meter if I'm in a hurry. But, I have never stabbed, murdered, raped, or committed any felonies!!!

I'm sorry to be so sarcastic, but people who do not live here tend to spread this generalized, inappropriate fear of "Memphis" and have others feeling scared and uncomfortable when they have no reason to be.

I am in Horn Lake and love it! WE got more house for our money here and the schools are GREAT!!
We live in what I call a semi-subdivision all the lots are at least 1.5 acres with no two houses a like but the kids are close enough to have lots of friends.

We are being transferred to UT in a couple of months and it scares me to death to see the home prices up there for what you get with not even .25 of an acre compared to here
