Daycares In OB
It depends if you are looking for a daycare for school age or non school age children. La Petite off Hacks Cross Road is a good one. They were privately owned and then bought out by La Petite. The people from the former daycare stayed and they are very good at their job. Maples Methodist Church has a daycare. It is okay, fairly expensive. When my son was there they did not have alot of activities to keep him busy. Then when after school started they never helped him with his homework even though they said that was part of the curriculum. Plus they took the children outside when it was extremly hot and a weather hazard had been issued. I took him out of there and transferred him to the YMCA. By all costs you should pass on them. Too many students not enough teachers. It is cheap but you get what you pay for. I showed up one day to pick up my 5yr old son and they did not know where he was and we had to search all over to find him. (He was outside). I enrolled him in Boswell's ATA afterschool care and he has been there ever since. They only do afterschool though. But they have transportation from the schools to the facility and they are really good people. I hope this has helped you some.
