Hello from Former Resident (Marks, Lake: high school, live in, radio)

My name is Doug Anderson. I lived in Marks Mississippi in 1957-58. I was a sophomore at Marks High School and was a guard on the football team. Some names that come back to me from that time are Roland Webster, James Hubert McCain, Sonny Henry, Whirley, Carolyn and George Cox, Lili and Marsha Lynch. I am writing a memoir and would like to get in touch with some of these people.

I just read your post from last year. I still live in Marks. Several of the people you remember have passed away, but I communicate with a few people on your list by email. We have a reunion for anyone who ever went to Marks High on the last Saturday in July every year at Wilson Lake Country Club. There is no charge and many people come.

I'm 24 years old, originally from Connecticut but I lived in Marks from October 2003 to July 2004...I kinda miss it, mainly because my first radio job was there in Marks at WQMA, AM 1520.

I've since lived in Alabama, Florida, North Dakota, New Hampshire and where I am now.. South Carolina.
