Default Thanksgiving dinner -- Gulf Coast?

Hi, guys. My husband and I are coming down from TN to visit family for Thanksgiving and want to take his family out for dinner.

Can any of you recommend restaurants that will be serving dinner for Thanksgiving Day? Preferably a late lunch or early dinner.

I know most of the casinos will be serving, but we are looking for other alternatives too. Also, which casino restaurants are your favorites? We moved away after Katrina, and aren't sure what's reopened or newly opened.

Thanks for any help.

I'm sure Mary Mahoney's will be open and serving. There are not that many restaurants that have reopened around Hwy 90 unless they have in the past month or so. Many of the restaurants are located at the intersection of I10 and Hwy 49. I remember a TGIF there and a couple others. Not what I would call good Thanksgiving fare, but maybe something new has come up.

Beau Rivage has a wonderful buffet and I am sure they go all out for Thanksgiving. We loved Boomtown food, as it was more country, I do not like seafood. Have not eaten at the others.

I'm sure that there is a website for each of the towns that would list the current open restuarants. Good luck.
