Hello! Just found this forum, and have killed about an hour just reading so many threads. What a wealth of info!
Anyways, our family is moving to Harmontown (to be closer to my hubby's side of the family) and I have been trying to find info on the area.
Is anyone familiar with where folks around here go to for services such as nearest post office, vet, hospital, bank, grocery, hardware store? I tried to look it up, and would guess that the closest place probably would be Senatobia or Batesville, but wasn't sure if Como or Sardis would have any of that.
For services like plumbing repairs, or air/heat repairs, would I call someone in Senatobia and they'd drive 25 miles out to repair? I wasn't even able to find a heat/air place listed in the phone book for Como.
Also, is anyone have any recommendations for local farms for fresh produce, meats, etc? I read about the Farmer's Market in Oxford, but unfortunately I think we will just have missed it this year.
Anyhow, sorry for all the questions. Thank you very much for anyone who could provide any advice!
