I will be moving to OS in a few weeks and had a few questions.... I was wondering if anyone had some info or opinions on Harbor Landing Condos?? We were thinking of renting one of these units while we house shop over the next year.... Just curious about the complex, crime, and any other useful information you can give

Also, we may have to stay in an extended stay while the condo is getting ready, for a week or so. Any suggestions on safe extended stays? The studio 6 off 90 in OS had good reviews on tripadvisor but would love any thoughts from locals!!!

Thank you so much!!

I once lived in OS and I know where the Harbor Landing condos are and I believe that is a very safe area as is almost all of Ocean Springs. Its a nice town.

OS is a nice city to move to. That is where I first started out when I moved down here to the coast of MS 4 years ago. It has one of the best public school districts; if you have any kids. I know where Harbor Landing Condos are located. I personally am not a fan of that area, but there are many other people who are. You can purchase homes back there for a decent price nowadays. I hope you are renting and not purchasing right away. This will give you time to get a better feel for what areas you feel are better for you and your lifestyle. The funny thing about property on the coast of MS is you can have 2 or 3 mobile homes and then a $300,000 home; then a mobile home then another $500,000. It's just the way it is.
I personally prefer Biloxi. It is the middle of everything and where the money is at when it comes to the city, due to the majority of the casinos are located in Biloxi. I'm sure you will love the cost of living here; very affordable! Hard to leave based on that fact alone.
Hope I was some help.
