The methodology is horrible!
As some who has a degree in Geography, I agree that methodology is important. Bad methodology creates flawed results. This is why using a specific publication is not enough. It would've been better to ask this question at national /state elections, where more data can be collected. And furthermore, how many people who read DM turned the poll down?

You could knock on doors and figure that out. People think this is new, it's not.

I don't even have to do that. I can just go to the grocery store and ask. Better yet, I have experience from high school to know how divided this issue really is.

For some reason, I am not surprised.

I said months ago there is going to be a pushback.

I've been talking to a friend in McComb who says this is playing out much like it did in 2001.

Outside groups coming in, threatening boycotts, protest songs, things that essentially pushed the 1894 flag to be retained.

As I said previously, if there's a vote then outcome would be the same as 2001.

The bigger question is how the rest of the world (ie: the media) react to it.
