Question Relocating To The Delta

I'M LOOKING TO RELOCATE WITH MY JOB TO GREENVILLE BUT I'M NOT TO SURE ABOUT LIVING THERE. I'M CONSIDERING THE CLEVELAND AREA. HOW ARE THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS AND COMMUNITY ATMOSPHERE FOR RAISING CHILDREN IN THE CLEVELAND AREA

Cleveland is the nicest among all the delta towns. The public schools aren't great but they are the best in the delta.

I would not recommend living in Greenville. It's not a great place to live and if you are not from the delta it could be a little tough for you to acclimate with people there.

Default Cleveland- not Greenville.

If you absolutely must live in the Delta, Cleveland is probably your best bet, but only as the least among evils. Delta State's presence in Cleveland mitigates or slows some of the deterioration found in the other Delta cities, especially Greenville.

You didn't mention the ages of your children as far as schools go. I would highly recommend Hayes-Cooper for elementary, but your choices past that point aren't that great. My family and I left Cleveland for the Tupelo area about three years ago. The grass is definitely greener.

I grew up in Greenville, went to college in Cleveland, married a girl from Cleveland... I'd prefer living in Cleveland. That's just me. I'd prefer my children growing up there than Greenville.
