We need term limits at all levels of government as well as campaign spending limits at all levels of government. Congress won't willingly do that, of course, because that is career suicide for them. So, we have to force them to do it somehow. The only way that I know of is for working Americans to stand together and vote them out en masse.

You're about 500 times more likely to be killed by random gun violence than as a result of an act of terror. You're about 13,000 times more likely to be killed by heart disease than as a result of an act of terror. You're about 200,000 times more likely to die as a result of a preventable condition caused by living in poverty than as a result of an act of terror. You're about twice as likely to be killed by a lightning strike than as a result of an act of terror.

And you STILL think that scary brown people are the biggest threat facing the nation? ISIS has been defeated. They were defeated over a year ago, and at this point it's pretty much just cleaning up the mess they made. The total number of members of Jihadist groups in the world is estimated as somewhere between 100k and 200k people. Total. None of these groups or people can project power in any meaningful way, and have almost no ability to impact the world outside of the middle east. And you STILL think that scary brown people are the biggest threat to the US?

My god, it must be nice living in a complete fantasy world.

I didn't vote in the poll because I'm not a MS citizen, but I figure I can at least comment - esp if jwkilgore (from TN) did.

Were I in MS, I'd either vote for Jill Stein or write-in Bernie Sanders (I voted for Sanders in the TX Dem Primary). I know Clinton's gonna lose MS anyway and I feel she's too in the hip-pocket of corporate interests. Certainly I'm in the "Anybody But Trump" camp (don't even get me started about that one!).

It seems like a person can't even make a slight racial slur in fun or in jest anymore without being called a racist. It's ridiculous, these new rules we have these days.

As of today, you appear to be right.
We will actually have to wait and see how Johnson polls in the future to make that call. If he can get himself included in the debates, and if he shows up well in those debates, it may change.

It could turn out that Johnson gets enough electoral votes so that no one gets to 270.
Then it goes to the House.

Pretty bone-headed mistake.

Will we still get to read all about how you are smarter than everyone in Mississippi?
Just curious.
What does "backwards" mean when referring to the south?

Interesting to bump this up. I'm a bit curious if there are any Trump voters that wish they didn't vote Trump, or any Hilary voters that wish they'd went Trump.
