Why would you choose Kosciusko? There isn't much of what you want here. There is no "supermarket area". We have 2 Sunflower food stores and a WalMart which has groceries, but is not what I consider a super WalMart (no deli, etc.). There is a small movie theater, but no skating rink anymore. There is no zoo, animal park or bowling. I think the Chinese buffet has some sushi. Unfortunately, the closest big town is an hour away. This is small town Mississippi and if you didn't grow up here, it will be tough to fit in. I didn't grow up here and I'm leaving as soon as I can. They do have good schools in the city though, but not so good in the county.

You can get to the Jackson area in an hour and most of what you want can be found there. If you are originally from here, then you will probably like it. I haven't seen much property for rent here so that may be a problem, especially finding something in the country. Have you tried contacting one of the realtors? The Natchez Trace Festival is the last Saturday in April. You might check the classified ads from the Star Herald for rental property.
