Default One month in Jackson

I have a clinical rotation for the month of May at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Does anyone know where I can rent a place in Jackson for one month??

Spartan,

In that case, Fondren and Belhaven (Millsaps-Belhaven Coll. area) would be your best bets, for UMC Med Center is right in that area. However, there are the occassional burglaries in the area, though not much in the way of violent crime. In short, don't get highly nervous about crime, but at the same time remember that you still can't keep your iPod or iPhone in your car overnight).

Second place, I'd say Northeast Jackson...as long as you stay away from County Line Road (northern boundary of the city). Traffic there is literally as bad as rush hour in the major national metros! Clinton and Brandon wouldn't be too bad either, if you don't mind a 10 mile commute.

Third Place: Ridgeland - LOTS AND LOTS of rental properties there, but...with County Line Rd. being the boundary between Ridgeland and Jackson, I'd think twice about this area - if only to avoid thick horrid traffic (I lived here from Jun 01 to July 02, so I know what I speak of).
