My family and i are moving to Desoto county for school reasons. My 3 year old is autistic and the school system we live in now is not appropriate for this. I was told desoto was the best around Does anyone know first hand about this?

Post Looking for a job in Olive Branch

I am currently a Business Education teacher and I will be relocating to Olive Branch area soon. Can anyone tell me of some good places to look for employment? Not necessarily in the teaching field, but in other areas of business also?

I was riding down College Rd. near College Crossing and saw a large foundation on the southside of the street. It looked to large to be a house. Are they planning to build apartment there?

Also I know of a situation in the College Park Subdivision were there street sunk in right in front of a house.

Oh, if I knew then what I know now... I would've moved to MS. Southaven, OB, Horn Lake - all better than living in Memphis area. I live in Cordova - not yet annexed by Memphis city. Still able to use county schools. Annexation will happen one day.

I am a delivery driver in the Olive Branch Area and live in Horn Lake.
I would never move to Olive Branch. It is a nice area but the home prices seem a little to high compared to Southave or Horn Lake.

The College and Bethel Park subdivisions are not what they appear to be. There is no way in heck I would pay that kind of money to buy in that neighborhood.

What type of price range are they looking in? That is a big factor when choosing a subdivision.

The builder for College Crossing is not the same as the other neighborhood and i do not live on top of gravel. I have heard that neighbors in College Park have that issue but College Crossing does not. The Grants are wonderful builders.
