Smile Help w/info on Byhalia, MS

I am considering buying in Byhalia, MS. Relocating from CA, but originally from this area. Last purchased and lived (10 yrs.) in Collierville, TN. In my search, the land and housing seem to be more affordable in Byhalia. My biggest concern is local facilities...supermarket, drug store, household goods (eg. Target, Wal Mart...), post office, cleaners...typical errand stops w/out having to travel outside the Byhalia area. Any help/insight will be appreciated. Thx.

Fosgate is on a distinguished road
For Mississippi, Olive Branch would be a better bet with regard to shopping and conveniences. Byhalia has close to nothing. There are alot of good housing deals in the Collierville area. My family and I moved there about a year and a half ago from Vicksburg. All we can say is, "wow".

Byhalia isn't that far from Olive Branch, maybe a ten minute drive. Only other option is Holly Springs, and I personally dislike Holly Springs.

My wife and I have lived outside the Byhalia city limits for aprox. 3 years. we do not have kids in school, have heard Marshall schools have improved alot, very updated. The people are very frindley, we enjoy our church, most of our shoping is done in Olive Branch, Collierville or memphis all whithin 15 min. We do shop some in Byhalia, for quick run in things. I think one of the many good things about Byhalia is it's people and being close to anything you want and have the country living. also many good things in Town, lots of history, you can look up the citys chamber of comerance site and read alot.
