best BBQ and Mexican food in Jackson
Where can you get the best BBQ in Jackson and surrounding areas? Is it primarily pork or beef? And Mexican food? Can't live without it.

Being a native Californian who lived in JXN for four years, I can tell you there is some decent Mexican resturants in JXN. You can try Cozumel by North park mall, or there is another place off of 55, I can't remeber the name it is down the street from Cracker barrel on the same side, they also have a location in Flowood off of Lakeland Drive. As for BBQ, most people do thier own, but one Place that stood out was on Bailey ave, called E and L, If I remeber correctly, good BBQ, not so good location.....

I agree with those two choices. Both are excellent.

E and L is still there, and it is delicious. As for mexican, you can't beat La Casuela on Fortification Street right off of I-55.
