If people from elsewhere are interested in Mississippi, I welcome that.

If you are ashamed of our history, that's fine. Embrace it, it happened, we've taken steps to rectify it. Move on (as far as your embarrassment and anger).

It's a new day and a bright future in Mississippi. The new flag is a symbol of that.
