Greetings!

As a newcomer to Picayune, MS
Where are all the happenings for 4th of July?
Local music, BBQs, Fireworks, etc.............

One is private (hide-away lake) and the other eis open to the public and sponsored by the McNeil fire department. About a 45 minute firework show and they sell food, have games, etc all day. The Picayune Item had a feature on it yesterday.

PICAYUNE — Two Fourth of July celebrations are scheduled for the upcoming holiday complete with fireworks, food and parades.

Hide-A-Way Lake Subdivision and the McNeill Volunteer Fire Department will have huge Fourth of July celebrations complete with fireworks. Hide-A-Way Lake’s celebration will be for residents and members only while McNeill Fire Department’s celebration will be open to the public.
