Olive Branch, Ivy Trails Subdivision (Goodman: for sale, new house, neighborhood)

Does anyone know anything about this subdivision? Would like to know ahead of time before purchasing a home. Thanks.

Hi - I too am relocating to Olive Branch and am currently here on a home finding trip. I looked in that subdivision yesterday and it seemed nice. The area was a little more secluded than some I have been in. My realtor also has stated that some of the subdivisions in the area are half empty and have not been built in properly which could affect resale value. This subdivision seems to be filled in nicely with only a few lots left she said.

kaytzmom- Ivy Trails is north of Goodman Rd. just off Davidson. According to the maps I have, the elem. school is Pleasant Hill, the middle & high schools are Desoto Central. There are currently (as of 6/25/08) 14 homes for sale in the MLS. They range in price from $159,900 to $249,999 and from 1800 sq. ft. to 3074 sq. ft. and are from 2-9 years old. Hope this helps!

We bought a new house on Ivey Trails Cove in the beginning of the subdivision. The foundation was substandard and bedroom wing broke off from the rest of the slab. Had hard time getting SOME money back from builder. It was a quiet neighborhood. I strongly suggest you hire a reputable home inspector before signing on dotted line. Good luck and please don't be naive about anything. In other words, don't get screwed like we did.
