Default Relocating to MS Gulf Coast

I'm a recent graduate of MSU. I'm looking to move to the Coast in January. I've looked at some apartments online. However, they are overrpriced for a recent grad. Does anyone know of any decent reasonably priced apartments?

Good luck! The rising housing costs are why my family's relocated to Saucier. Apartments that would've been $400/month before Katrina are now pushing $1,000/month. Once the storm cleared, the vultures moved in. I'll ask my friends out in Ocean Springs what they pay for their apt and get back to you.

Oh you got that right. Its sad too.. because I love the area so much, I am afraid they are pricing locals out of the city. When I move back I will have to look at places like Saucier.

I'm actually from the Coast (Pascagoula), and I've been so busy that I haven't gotten a chance to actually come down and look at a few places. I really want to move to the other end (Biloxi/Gulfport). Everything is so overpriced! I'm actually rethinking my decision and possibly relocating to right outside Nashville, TN. The rental prices are about the same, but I was really looking forward to moving back home =(
