nearby communities of Petal MS? (Hattiesburg: school district, to live in, to move)

Hi all,

My family is looking to move near the area of Petal soon. We recently made a trip to the area. And I think we'd perfer to live just a little outside of the town, but we're unfamiliar with the surrounding areas other than Hattiesburg. We'd like to stay within a 20 minute driving distance to Petal though, due to that's where our child will be attending school. If anyone has any communities or areas to suggest, that'd be great.

Are you looking for a rural area or something else? You would have to stay within the Petal School District, would you not? I suspect 20 minutes away is going to put you outside that district, but others may know more.

I always thought you had to live in the Petal School district to attend Petal Schools too.
I would stay outside the city limits of Petal though. There are a variety of communities wthin Petals school district & within minutes of town without having to live in the city limits. Check out MyHattiesburg forums which has a Petal Only forum also...Hope it's ok to suggest other forums, if not my apologies...Goodluck with your relocation regardless...
