Questions About Saucier
I have a few questions about Saucier.
What kind of jobs are available there?
Is it easy to find a job there?
How much do the houses in good areas cost?
Did Saucier have any flooding during Katrina, or any other recent hurricanes?
Is there a lot of crime in Saucier?

Stay away from this hell hole. I'm 19 with no car. I am literally stranded in the middle of no-where in a fema trailer with my poor grandma. As of now I'm trying to devise a plan out of here. There are virtually no jobs in this city. The few jobs that are located here are sprinkled miles and miles apart. Hurricane damage was minimal. I know of no crime rate statistics, so i can't say. Basically, Saucier is a retirement area. A rural settlement for sleepy elders.

I feel really bad for you. I am about the same age as you, and I would not enjoy living in an area like that. Were you thinking of moving to Biloxi or Gulfport, or even somewhere outside of Mississippi? I hope you can get out of there as soon as possible and that you enjoy the next city you live in.

Does anyone have anything good to say about this town. It was recommened to us and we are thinking of relocating there. We hate the fast city life and want to be in the country. Looking fo a lot to put a camper trailer to live in with my hubby and pups. Somewhere i can put up a fence for a small yard.

There really is not much in Saucier at ALL. There's no big stores, unless you count the dollar store which is on Highway 49 basically outside of "Saucier". It's mainly just a bunch of houses and trailers in the country. There are some nice houses and nicer areas, but a lot of it is just trailers.

I live in Saucier with my husband and my children (ages 8-16) and we all love it. We are not sleepy elders, we actually have great parties. It is a small area where everyone knows everyone. Someone is always having a bar-b-q or playing volleyball, softball in the yard. We just drive around and find where all the cars are parked. My children come to every party with us and play with their many friends. It is like one great big family. We all hang out, play, hunt, fish, together. Move here and you will not regret it.
