Default Beaches In The Midsouth?

Are there any beaches in the midsouth area? Not the riverside, but a beach with sand? I've had family members who visit ask me that question several times.

Been down to the riverside, there was no sand. However, if you are recommending the coast, are you referring to the gulf? That's quite a hike and I wouldn't be able to fit that into my travel schedule.

I don't really understand the question. What is the Mid-south? Do you mean
the middle of the South or the coastal middle like the Carolinas. Any coastal beach can easily be identified from a map. Obviously states along the Gulf and the Atlantic have beaches. Do you mean nice beaches that are suitable for visiting? Then if you mean Mississippi I would say the best area would be the Guilf Shores/Orange Beach vicinity in Alabama and points east of that.
Mississippi beaches are lovely but not good for swimming.

Yea I asked earlier why you call Mississippi the mid south, cause it just isn't the midsouth, lived here all my life and never once heard anybody say that. But obviously you haven't lived here very long if you are asking if there are beaches in the middle of a state. But really is there any states with beaches in the middle of them. I dont believe so unless like I stated earlier that you go to a river or a lake, and its really not a beach.
