Absolutely! The park is great. No pool this year though, another is under construction and will be open next summer. Still the cabins, the hiking trails, and canoeing are great.

I know that MS, AL, and TN get really bad storms producing dangerous tornadoes. My question is how many tornadoes does the town of Iuka get on average every year? Secondly, how much tornado activity is there along alternate route 72 from Iuka MS to Decatur/Huntsville International Airport on average every year? Has those areas ever seen an EF3 to EF5 tornado?

Drugs ARE the "silent crime" in the town and county of Tishomingo! Law enforcement is highly "involved" in this "silent crime". They do take time out to write traffic citations for that four-way-flashing-light traffic stop and other traffic violations so drive carefully. There are many wonderful people in Tishomingo and as a general rule a person driving through is safe. There is a great little hamburger place in town. Last time I was there Poor Boy was closed by the health department. I grew up there and it's a great place to be from! Does anyone take movies as scientific proof? Except for the music "Oh Brother" was fiction, everyone knows that, right???? Tishomingo State Park is a great place to camp, hike, etc. Also, check out Coleman State Park!
