Holly Springs & Mt Pleasant Miss. Info needed
I am hoping to move to MS within the next 2 months. I have researched as much as I can, just not enough info. I know nothing of the high schools, job market, taxes (food/state or both?) crime rate, best small town close to Memphis TN w/out any city influences. (gangs, drugs, crime...)
Need info asap Please!

There is about as much drugs, although admittedly not violent crime related to drugs, in small towns as well as certain types of crimes like spousal abuse, etc..

Holly Springs has a minor crime problem. It is a good rural town, though not ideal. If you are looking for a small town close to Memphis without any crime or gangs, then Hernando would be your best bet, though it is rapidly becoming suburban. Holly Springs has horrible schools and everyone with any money sends their kids to private schools. Hernando schools are decent. |

go to greatschools.org to look at test data for any school system in the state. You can also read comments on the schools if parents have left them.
