Corinth is 20 minutes away from Iuka and is a very nice town. Booneville is another 25 minutes or so south of Corinth. According to schooldigger.com, based on test scores their school districts are ranked 9th and 6th of the state's 143 school districts. Corinth is a very nice town of about 15,000 with a charming downtown area, beautiful historic districts, and very upscale-looking new subdivisions - as well as main commercial drag lined with fast food, gas stations, Wal-Mart etc. Booneville has about 8,000 people but has a large community college. Another 25 minutes to the south of Booneville is Tupelo, which is very well regarded and with about 40,000 people and very good school districts (Tupelo city and Saltillo suburban). Things to do in the area...Pickwick Lake near Iuka as part of the Tennessee River is very nice. Tupelo is big enough to have nice and updated malls, restaurants, etc and a few local type restaurants. Within an hour or two are Oxford and Starkville (for college sports and other events). Also from Corinth and Tupelo you can reach the Memphis suburbs in about an hour or hour and 15 minutes.
