Post Tupelo is good

Tupelo schools are probably the best ones out there. Avoid Nettleton schools in Monroe / Lee counties (they are seperate counties but have a school district as one because the city is in both, very complicated to explain). The only reason why I say to avoid Nettleton schools is they still do things that the "south" did many many years ago with seperate votes on class favorites and beauties for "white people" and for "black people" and I think that is just wrong. Another thing is there are no critical need school in the Tupelo vacinity (which in case you are unsure of the term critical needs, it is an area of the state where there is a teacher shortage).

As far as apartments, I really don't know. I was living with my friend one summer in Nettleton with her parents.

If she watches our daily paper (The Daily Journal), there are usually several listings for apartment rentals at a wide varity of cost.

The Saltillo/Mooreville schools are great as well. My son is at the primary and it is an excellant school. There are a few apartments around the Saltillo area for rent.
