Breaking news:
Just found this on local news website....
LATE BREAKING: Toyota Considering Postponing Plans Starting Production at Blue Springs Plant
A Japanese newspaper, the Nikkei, reports that Toyota is considering postponing plans to start production at the plant it is building near Blue Springs.
That plant is supposed to build the hybrid-electric Prius.
WTVA News is working to get local reaction from Toyota and will have more on this story on WTVA News Live at Five.

yes, and we are losing jobs left and right around here. Cooper Tire is a huge mfg in Tupelo and they are in a panic as there are 4 plants being looked at, one will close. They find out in January.

Oh tell me about it. That is why I started preparing early this year on food!!!! Thankfully, I have almost paid down our debt, got our house paid for last year, and my rentals are paying that payment now I have to finish paying on some land I purchased, thanks to Toyota. I don't want to be 2 miles from the plant, so I bought land a bit further out and not on a main road to eventually build another house.
Things have been getting tighter and tighter in our area for a while with all the furntiure companies going out. I am over one of our utilities and see it more each month. People are having a very hard time making their monthly bills.
Time to hunker down and wait it out.
