I have 3 kids.. a 14 year old, a 11 year old and 9 year old. We have been looking at 3 bedroom houses for rent and have seen quite a few between 900-1200 online..

I will give them a call today and see where I can send that resume, thanks! The slab idea sounds like a winner.. I will have to check into that. I have seen the Katrina house at Lowes. I could build one of them.. heh heh. =)

But right now I will find some place to rent.. then I will look into setting up roots. Thanks for all your help.

IMHO,
I would look in North woolmarket area,
Outstanding school, and nice area, couple subdivisions out there.
605 just opened, so driving will only take a few minutes.

Woolmarket is in Biloxi. See http://www.harrison.k12.ms.us for the Harrison County School District, each school's page also contains information on student grade averages, etc. With a family as big as yours, you might find it more cost-effective to just buy or build a home instead of renting. Check out the Sun Herald website for housing listing on the Gulf Coast: http://buyit.sunherald.com/findit/re...sale/index.htm

Close to the Jullie Robinson Moultine Battlefield and Off 39th Ave.

Im told its a mixed neiborhood.. I am assuming that means its Black and white neiborhood, is that a warning, cause I have no problem with people of any color. And get along with almost everyone.

Near the US Naval Reserve Station, right? Haven't been to that neighborhood that I know of, but yes "mixed neighborhood" probably means a mix of whites and blacks, maybe some Mexicans too. Hopefully everyone will be good neighbors, you can't for sure say that they will be or not based on their races. Taking a look at the map, looks like you're sandwiched between two train tracks, CSX and Kansas City Southern (my house is about 100 yards from the tracks, although I barely even notice the train anymore). One of the only downsides to Gulfport is the noise pollution from the train and the airport. Going straight down 33rd Ave will take you to the beach.

yepp, just above it off 39th street. up near meadowbrook I think is the streets name. I see a train track along 49th but it looks far off according to google maps. I dont see the other train track that we would be sandwiched between.
