I need help with going to Oxford (Batesville, Byhalia: credit, home)

Hello All,

Divorced 35 male seeking a new life! ha!

I have been separated by distance from my dad, uncles, and aunts for quite sometime because of my former marriage. I would like to move to Oxford as soon as I can to be near them and start over.

I had a home in Byhalia , MS because my ex was into horses and it was quiet.
After we divorced I moved back to Memphis temporarily working for a major company doing I.T. and have been miserable. I cannot stand it here. I grew up here but all my family is from MS and MS is home to me.

I have the money to move there. But I need some kind of job anything to land on when I get there.

My question is are there any good jobs there? I work in computers and voice over. I am looking more so for the computer work as the voice over is done from home studio. I have many talents though and a resume. I have considered getting into NW community college there and work on a CNA certification to work in health care as I have read those jobs are all over the place. If I do the school do you know if the local hospital etc would hire me while going through school?

I am also interested in trying out for the local PD there or Sheriffs department or highway patrol.

If you know anyone who needs a personal assistant, full time I.T. person in Oxford, Batesville or surrounding areas please let me know. Or if you know anyone who needs someone with a unique voice to do commercials etc for please let me know.

My family is looking to. It is just a weird situation due to my divorce.

Although it really isn't the same FNC, Inc., is based here and you'd need a bachelors degree. I think they make software programs for banks so they hire lots of IT guys and engineers. The University may be hiring so I would put a resume in with them. Go to The University of Mississippi and I believe if you dig around enough, you can find a section with all the posted jobs. That is probably about it for IT jobs with a small town like Oxford; good luck!

Yeah, I have decided I want to go back to college. So, applying at U of M There. i have the money and the credit for financial aid. wish me luck!!
