Ocean Springs Is a rotten cess pool disquised by an attractive facade. It is a town that is perceived as being crime free, but isn't. In the 7 years I lived there my home was broken into 4 times, my truck was
vandalized, my car was broken into. The people in Ocean Springs have a bad reputation as Snotty Narcissists, and there businessmen Sociopaths who'd swindle you out of your last dime. The most brutal murders we've had in Jackson County in 10 years took place Ocean Springs, the most infamous
was in 2004 when a stepdad beat his stepdaughters brains out with a hammer after raping her.
Ocean Springs government is corrupt. Its run by "cliques", if you aren't a member of that clique,
or if you're of average means, don't expect too much if you live in this town, even from the police, although they do have a nice detective who recovered itemd stolen from my car when it was burgalarized. Be wary of folks who have only praise for this town, very wary! Vancleave, in the county, or Gautier, a city next door, are much better places to live than "Artsy-Fartsy",overrated, and
corrupt little Ocean Springs. My 2 cents. (I lived in this town)
