Thank you for that uplifting article. There are some other wonderful things written by Paul Harvey who pointed out that Mississippi may very well be a closely guarded secret. I'm beginning to think he is right. There are probably many hidden treasures in Mississippi.

Yes. He died in 2009. I thought it was more recent. I miss him.

This part should have been omitted, but Mississippi does have the strongest literary history of any state (as far as I know).

Hey, Louisiana still has Shreveport, N'awlins and Cajuns. That's three things at least.
