If I recall correctly, the temperature was around 72 at this time in Jackson exactly 24 hours ago! I haven't seen this much of a change in temperature since I was in Michigan, how about that.
There are a few snowflakes falling right now, but it should taper off in about an hour or two. There hasn't been any accumulation in the city proper, but it's nice to see it once in a while. It's been falling for about an hour or so now at a steady rate, so the rural areas might have a dusting of snow at the moment.
The big thing now is weather this snow band that's currently in the north of the Delta (around Clarksdale) makes it this far south. Forecasts have it going towards the southeast more than the south, so Jackson
should miss out on most of the good stuff. But weather is hard to predict, so who knows...
