New to Hernando/Weatherby Place (Memphis: short sale, relocation company, mortgage)

Hi! My husband and I and our two children are relocating from Oklahoma to Hernando, MS in about a month due to his job. He will be working in Memphis, but we knew not to live there. We fell in love with the Hernando area and were blessed to find a great short sale home in the Weatherby Place addition. It is down the street from the park and the Hernando Oak Grove elementary school. I just have a few questions:

Does anyone know anything about the neighborhood?

Is the school a good one?

Are there any nearby good church or christian daycares?

Kristin9196-I have some former clients who live in that subdivision and they love it. They like the location and the schools. I can't answer your question about daycare, but I am sure you will be able to find a church! I hope the short sale you found goes well...there have been a lot of problems with the existing lenders not cooperating on those. Good Luck and welcome to Hernando.

Thank you for your reply! Yes the addition seems great. So far things are going great and fast for a short sale. We are supposed to close next month and our mortgage company is Sirva(our relocation company lender) and they are doing everything smoothly so far. Well, hopefully I will meet a lot of the neighbors and maby even your clients. We will be on Maggie Cove and we have a 6 year old girl and 2 year old boy, so hopefully there are kids around there their age. Thanks again.
