Default Moving to Long Beach, MS housing market

Hi,
We are moving to Long Beach, MS and are looking for some information. How is the housing market? Where have the house values gone from 2005-2009. Are they going up, down, staying the same? How can you find out the elevation of a house we are looking at? Is is 15 feet or 50 feet above sea level. Thank you.

Well you can find the basic elevation of a house using Google Earth.
Mississippi housing didn't have the large spurt like California, Florida or Nevada
so home prices have been flat or dropped just a touch I think.
