Smile Visiting Mississippi

Good morning! We were thinking about visiting MS for a week this summer. What kind of things are there to do and see? We will be in the NW corner. And it will be myself, my mom, a 7 year old and a 10 year old. We are willing to drive a bit if needed to get to do stuff. Thanks!

Default How to set a friend up in town???

Hi All,

I have a friend that will be stationed in Pascagoula for as much as a couple of months. She loves sports and will NEED to find a good sports bar to watch her football.
Is there a great or decent sports bar that I could git her a gift certificate to???

Hi,
My only sister moved to Southaven, MS almost four years ago. We have been to visit several times since the move. Some of the highlights we have experienced were Beal St. in Memphis, Memphis Zoo, Vicksburg (about a 5-6 hr. drive from Southaven) and, of course, Graceland. We have enjoyed a visit to Tunica but mostly for adults as we visited the casinos which were fun. When we brought the young adults (14 and 17 years old) with us to Tunica it was to go to Paula Deen's restaurant which was quite an experience if you a fan of her cooking. After our dinner we went over to a large arcade and had a ball.
You say you are planning your visit for this summer. I don't know where you live but MS is a very hot and humid environment May through Ocotber so I don't know how much outdoor activity you will be up for.
