Default Southaven utilities vs Memphis

I am moving from Memphis to Southaven i a couple of months. I am moving in to an apartment that are close to $200.00 more per month. But hopefully it will even it self out. We are cutting cable down and the commute to our babysitter everyday. She lives in Horn Lake.
I have heard that utilities in Southaven is a lot cheaper then in Memphis. Is this true. I am right now paying 150 a month )gas and electric) for a 1000sqf apartment! What can I excpect to pay in Southaven for a 1200 sqf apartment.
