It seems like a nice place, however this is only from reading about it.

Oxford appears to be a very nice place. I have been there several dozen times, mostly for business reasons.
It is fast growing & housing & land are high. Much like my county, Desoto, which is about 60 miles north. It is hard to buy a house under $160K in either place & most run $200K

I'm sure you know Ole Miss is there so lots of young folks

Weather is hot & muggy in the summer months & short winters with very little snow. This past winter the temp got down to 16 one time.

We lived there for 6 years and it's very nice for a small town. You just have to be willing to drive over an hour for shoppig at a mall or go to the airport in Memphis etc. We lived 5 miles outside the city limits and liked it although it can be expensive..In the winter it does get very cold and they do get some snow that only lasts as day or so.
