Thumbs down "IT", Mississippi

Does anyone out there remember a crossroads on Old US Highway 51 near Wesson that was known as "It", MS? Preston and Althea Butler owned and operated a grocery and filling station there during the 40's and 50's. Both are long gone and I cannot find any evidence of the place.

Yes, I use to drive through "IT" frequently. There was a church up on the hill also. It was not incorporated or recognized really, except for the signs of the store and the church, if I remember correctly.

Many thanks for that. I wonder if you can pin-point just where "IT" was?
I can't recall where along US 51 it was located. JOG

It was near the Martinsville exit off I-55, just south of Hazlehurst and north of Wesson on Hwy 51.

Default It, ms

You're right; thanks. I went to Google Maps and that's the intersection for sure.

There is now an antique store, where you can get a business card with "It, Mississippi" as the address.
