There is an Elvis festival...or is that just for tourists.

Am curious what Mississippians think of their most famous native...proud, indifferent, happy, got-over-that-years-ago.....?

I had a blast at the Elvis Festival every year I went...and I was definitely not a tourist.

I was on the "Downtown Committee" at the time, so I volunteered to work at Festival. Basically, all I did was answer questions about Elvis, Tupelo, and the Festival itself. Mostly, I just got to hang out and have a great time.

You should go!
