A word from the mods and Administrator

We have a wonderful forum here in MISSISSIPPI and for the most part it runs very smoothly without any intervention from the moderators.
Many of you have been long-time posters and might remember Sam I Am. She has not been able to be here, so I have taken over this forum.

Just a couple of reminders when using the forum:

The link to the Terms of Service is at the top of every forum. Please take just a second to review it and refresh your memory.

Please - Lately there has been a serious issue with copyrighted material on the internet . If you are not the original author of information, document, picture, article, lyrics, or whatever, it is not yours to use without proper credit being given. The Terms of Service specifically state only a sentence or two may be used, with a link to the original source. You cannot copy and paste an entire article, and this includes newspaper articles. Posts that are even potential copyright violations will be modified or deleted. There is a zero tolerance rule in place on this per the Administrator. The rule of thumb is that moderators will warn, infract and then ban for repeated violations. Three strikes and you're out.

Wikipedia - you may link to your Wiki reference, but don't quote them without doing the followingm

Wikipedia's license, the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) requires that any derivative of works from Wikipedia must be released under that same license, must state that it is released under that license, and reproduce a complete copy of the license in all copies of the work, and must acknowledge the main authors (which some claim can be accomplished with a link back to that article on Wikipedia).

In other words, any quote from Wiki should contain the above links plus the link to Wiki page...

It is much easier just to please link to Wiki. There's no way we can ever get that right!

However, if it is particularly offensive, feel free to direct message me in addition to reporting the post. Please do not engage in word wars with flamers or trolls.
