Default Good food in Vicksburg

What's the most popular restaurant in Vicksburg? Something you always reccomend to your family and friends. No Chain or Franchise, only homegrown stuff. I maybe have to take a trip down there. This thread fried up in butter and garlic haha

Thank You wonderful people of Mississippi

Oh man, give me a couple of days and my best friend, who's a Vicksburg native, could give you a much better list. But off the top of my head, there's Evelyn's in Bovina, which has amazing home-cooked soulfood, and our favorite hang-out spot, Highway 61 Coffee on Washington Ave, with live music on Thursdays and an Attic Gallery upstairs filled with works from local artists.

I had dinner at Borrello's on Washington St a few months ago, and it was good food in a very nice atmosphere.

bornjacksonian is on a distinguished road
This is no chain or franchise but you should try the buffet at the Riverwalk Casino. I can not tell you all how good that food is. I usually go and gamble there on Tues. and Thursdays and I always have to stop by there and eat either before I play or wait until I finish and I enjoy every bit of it. The meatloaf and is the best!
